Great pizza! Very fresh ingredients that are rather surprising and tasty.
Sort of a mixed experience, but still good enough to warrant a 4☆. We did a to-go order, which actually came out fairly quickly. I had the tuna melt, and it was excellent. She had the Greek Salad, which was a rip-off. A whopping $15 for a paltry pile of lettuce, a couple cucumber slices, a few olives, a sprinkling of feta and dressing...definitely only about $3 worth of actually food, plus a tiny portion that left her needing a follow-up stop later on. We went during the car show, so it was crazy busy, warranting our to-go order instead of waiting in a line out the door for a table.
Best baked goods in town, amazing food, drinks and coffee. The staff are always friendly and inviting. It’s always a treat to go in. Special shout out to the new gentleman at the coffee counter, who made one of the best americanos I’ve had and was making some pretty cool coffee art for other people’s lattes. All around, everyone pays attention to detail which makes this place stand out from the rest.
Excellent food and pastries! Good environment.
Great bread!!!! Staff seemed a little preoccupied like the couldn't care much less but wasn't horrible. Prices were average. :) Overall good. But the bread is out of this world!
Loved the “brunch pizzaâ€, but wish they severed their breakfast menu past 11.
Friendly service and amazing service/pizza
Bread Co is a great place to eat at any time and any day. Firewood pizzas, bread, and pastas. Their salads are excellent. The beverages although not in quantity they have quality. The great view to see downtown is amazing. If your visiting Walla Walla this is definite place to visit. While there try their pastries and local bread.
Delicious breakfast and pastries. The cheddar jalapeño biscuits are so good!
Amazing baked goods. The heirloom tomato and goat cheese pastry was made of dreams. Just go, you won't be disappointed

Stopped by for lunch. We had a bowl of the tomato bisque and a chicken mushroom grilled panini. Soup was fresh, light and tasty, not too sweet and heavy on your palate. Got a couple loaves of whole wheat sourdough. Crust was thick and chewy and the bread had a great texture. There is a viewing area and if your timing is right you can see the bakers working the dough!
Fabulous find! We came in on a very busy day and was a bit worried that we would wait for a table and food. Nothing to worry about. The service was great (especially since they were slammed) and our food was beautiful, delicious and we’ll worth what we paid. We took home some pastries for later—amazing!
I really liked the food. It was priced about mid range for lunch. Half sandwiches available under $10. Nice setting, beautiful displays of baked goods! Friendly wait staff, they kept us well stocked with fresh water. I like not having to ask.
Breads can hit or miss with quality and consistency, service can be a little slow (even at non-rush hours) feel like something's have improved and some things have lost value/appeal with transition. Overall Pizza was pretty amazing and have heard good things about sandwiches but haven't tried one yet.
My family and I stopped in here for a late breakfast. The hostess quickly seated us and the waitress was quick to get our drink order even though they were busy. The cocktails were great, the coffee was on point and so was the food. I highly recommend checking it out.
Only ate dessert here but it was amazing. There is a large wood fired oven visible from the long counter with seating. Try to sit at the counter if you can - you can watch the chef prepare meals right in front of you. The chocolate souffle took about 20 minutes to cook, and we could watch it rising in the oven the whole time. It was delicious and moist and a total bargain for the price. The berry cobbler was also good. For a wine-loving town there wasn't an extensive wine menu, but what was available was good.We were here later in the evening about 45 minutes before close and service was quite good. Everyone seemed happy to be there. Next time maybe try happy hour as they have a great cocktails menu.
This was a very unpleasant experience. I don't know how you order here, but I apparently did it wrong and it was my fault for not knowing the restaurant's process. The staff was very rude and didn't know their products. I asked what kind of coffee roast they had, and the server just shrugged. I ordered a pastry and it wasn't until I left that I noticed she gave me the wrong item. When I returned it, she did not apologize, but took the pastry and put it back in the display (health code violation??). The waitstaff never asked how I was or offered to refill my coffee. I'm a visitor so I'll never be back, but I recommend no one go here if they want to enjoy their vacation.
Try the waffle with sausage gravy! Sweetened dense dough with chunky sausage gravy. Mmm.
We recently planned a wedding rehearsal dinner at the Walla Walla Bread Company. I would highly recommend that if you use this company for a dinner that you triple confirm your date and time and the prices for your meals.. We had some confusion and ended up with them not being ready for us as they thought it was another night. The staff was amazing and their one waiter with additional help occasionally jump through lot of hoops to try to make it right for the management. He more than earned his keep that night. I will not go into more details, but It was a Disappointing way to start a wedding weekend. The bride and groom Were served last and did not get their food for over two hours. Some of the wedding party had to leave as they had children with them and they needed to eat. The food was good but not at all what we had hoped to have. The staff was great.
My husband and I enjoyed wonderful food and great service. He had half a sandwich and a bowl of turkey and quinoa soup. I had a tasty veggie burger on a house made brioche but with "jojo's" - roasted potato wedges. Sadly, we didn't save room for dessert. 😟 So, of course we'll go back.
The food was excellent! Our server was Megan and she was on top of everything. Her suggestions were absolutely on point, and she made our experience wonderful! We were a large group, and our food was served quickly. We had some of everything at our table - salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. The food was fresh, fresh, fresh! We will be going back before we leave town.
Worst lox 'n bagel ever, expensive too! Hubs didn't like his sandwich either...blecch!
I love their idea of customizing your waffle. They were delicious!!
The restaurant is nice and the food and bread are ok, but the staff needs customer service training. The cashier also handles money with gloved hands and then touches bread/pastries. I wouldn’t go back.
Food looked beautiful but lacked flavor. My wife's salad was small and adding on shrimp produced 4 small prawns. I had the artichoke pizza which was tasty but too much dough relative to toppings.
Great homemade breads, great sandwiches, great, fun, friendly staff, very clean and nice atmosphere!
Perfect manifestation of good bread building out to a great space!
We stopped by Walla Walla Bread Company by happenstance around lunchtime and I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like just another bougie Seattle-esque restaurant from the sidewalk, but it's hearty, tasty food at reasonable prices for the quality and quantity. Staff was lovely and attentive and answered our questions with patience. The pizza combo was perfect for splitting between two people with some leftovers for later.
Avocado toast was to die for. If I lived here, I would eat it every day. The restaurant seemed really busy, but our server was working hard. I have worked in the industry and I know some of the work that goes into an establishment like this. Great food and gorgeous pastries.. can’t wait to come back in the spring!
The ambience is very nice. Wooden tables and chairs, well spaced, big windows attractive layout, nice crockery and silverware, no plastic. Service is friendly. Unfortunately the food left something to be desired. I had breakfast - cappuccino (good) and scramble with smoked salmon, spinach and goat cheese. It was attractively presented but not fbulously delicious, and it was pretty spendy. I worked for a few hours - appreciated the quiet environment and free WiFi - then had a latte (absurdly small) and chocolate mousse cake (stale). I doubt I'll go back.
We got take out here. Excellent sandwiches. Chicken salad and pulled pork sandwiches very good and can be taken out. Serviceable side salad with nice greens. At breakfast time also a good take out breakfast sandwich.
My wife and I both had sandwiches here, andb the bread was good, but the sandwiches themselves weren't great. Mine was chicken, and was very dry and chewy. Eventually I picked the chicken out of the sandwich and just ate the rest. My wife had a breakfast sandwich which was better, but nothing special. I've heard good things about this place from friends, so I may go back and try it again.
The Greek Salad was good. Beet salad was better. Nicely sliced thin and chunked beets a little interesting. The loaf of sourdough was better. The service was excellent . They had on music from my high school days that's a little frightening in public.
Awesome food and service. Definite must while in Walla Walla. You won't regret it! Unique menu.
Bacon & Eggs was closed so we hopped down the street for breakfast. Visiting from Portland, we weren’t sure what to expect. Everything is very fresh- my hubby ordered a waffle w/ PB, bacon and candied nuts and loved it. His side of eggs came out before the rest of our meal so we sent them back and had them bring a fresh side with our meals. I had the corned beef hash, which was good but a tad on the dry side. Also had a cheesy scallion biscuits which was to die for. Mimosas are delish. Solid breakfast place.
Should have known by the name of the restaurant, but salads are definitely not one of their strong menu items. I got the Greek salad with a side of chicken and was extremely disappointed.
Lunch with my BFF, her recommendation from another. We where both impressed! Decor was rustic, modern, pleasant atmosphere for lunch. Our waitress/server was pleasant, attentive, and the food was delicious! Also coffee that didn't need any additives. Definitely worthy of a lunch spot, wouldn't mind trying breakfeast or dinner. Tucked in a corner nice place to visit with a friend.
Terrible service. At least six employees sitting around talking and cussing.
It was good quality food, clean and friendly. I would have given a better rating had the prices been a bit better.
Very good, the BLT was the best I've had with really amazing thick bacon and lots of it. Tomatoes were amazing and the bread was perfect.
Good food but service is always disappointing. Very entitled staff and the tip already added to the bill makes them just not try anymore. The food is very hit and miss.
This used to be one of my favorite brunch places in Walla Walla. And I must say, I still love their bread. Nothing has changed there, and I will continue to seek out this place when I need a loaf of bread (or 10). However, the restaurant side I think has gone downhill. Food quality is down while prices are up, and service was significantly slow last time I visited, even though it seemed pretty empty. All in all, used to be one of my favorites, still love the baked goods, but won't be eating in the restaurant again anytime soon.
Everything about this restaurant was awesome. The ambiance, music, warmth of interior. The food was outstanding. We had the pizza dinner and had the Greek and house salads with the duck confit pizza. I've not tasted a better Greek salad and the pizza was beautiful look at and eat! We enjoyed coffee and chocolate souffle afterwards along with their house made oreo cookie 😠We purchased two loaves of the bakery sourdough bread and had it with breakfast next day; it was excellent! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The service was also terrific!
Delicious! They even had a GF vegan cupcake!!! Also the best almond milk latte I've ever had.
Delicious baked goods and excellent espresso!
If you're passing by through Walla Walla, the Bread Company is a regular spot to go to for lunch or to just pick up a pastry for a quick snack
Great Bread - but when I had two of the three loaves thinly sliced the end piece came missing, the heal was gone, i not only was sad because I like their bread and was jipped a piece, but I like having it to keep the bread from drying out. Just a note when I watched the employee prepare the customer before me, their 2 orders sliced also- I saw the end piece, heel, drop when she gave them their thinly sliced bread, their heel/end piece was missing too, thinking it was just an accident, but then mine happened just the same. Made me wonder if she was keeping them for a later snack because no doubt it's good bread!
This place was okay. Is a bit crowded for a sit down place. I definitely prefer the Maple Counter for breakfast over this place. I personally liked their food better and the portions were better. The best part was the fruit.
Atmosphere is nice but the service was not great. After finally being seated, there were 4 other tables waited on and serviced before our server, Brie, even took our food order. Food was ok over all.
